This unique hotel is housed in a round building that dates back to the 1800s and has a great story to tell. Originally built as a gas tank to store the gasoline used to light the famous Boston lantern, it has been rebuilt several times over the past 2 centuries. In the 1920s in particular it was used to make and store lighting equipment and later in the 1930s to show motion pictures, after which it was closed and stood vacant for 60 years before being converted into an amazing hotel.
