Common description

Welcome to Spirit of the Knights, an exclusive Eco Friendly small boutique hotel located in the medieval old town of Rhodes. We worked closely with the Greek architect Anastasiades Efthymios and the Greek Department of Archeology, whose combined experience in the restoration of ancient buildings helped create the Spirit of the Knights Boutique Hotel. With every attention to detail, the integrity of the building has been maintained. Originally built by the Crusaders and later modified by the Ottomans, it has a surprising combination of architectural influences and is classified as a monument of special importance. Tucked away at the highest point of the medieval city on a quiet cobbled street, within walking distance of the Suleiman Mosque, the Palace of the Grand Masters, shops, bars, restaurants and the sea, the hotel is the perfect base to explore the medieval city and the island. The hotel houses objects and works of art from different parts of the world, including Greece, Morocco, Turkey, Persia and the Far East. Carpets and kilims from Persia and Turkey, and a marvelous mix of furniture, some of which are hand-carved, create a stunning combination of a historic building with modern amenities. || Each room is architecturally different. The public areas are large and spacious, with reception, ground floor toilet, living room, library, bar, courtyard garden and water feature courtyard, creating a wonderfully peaceful and spacious atmosphere for relaxing in privacy.
