It is 20 minutes (10 km) from Edinburgh's main railway station (Waverley) while Edinburgh International Airport is 15 minutes away (regular bus services are available). The nearest beach and sea are about 200 m. Connections to the public transport network and the nearest night club are located 10 km in the city center. Shops, restaurants, bars and pubs are about 3 km away. The hostel was renovated in 2003 and consists of 82 rooms spread over 3 floors. Guests are welcomed to a spacious lobby with a 24-hour front desk, a safety deposit box and lifts. The hostel has a bar and a small supermarket. The hostel also provides a public internet terminal and laundry services. For guests arriving by car, there is a bicycle rental and parking spaces. Each bedroom has a bedroom for 6 people with individual reading lights. Rooms are cleaned daily. Please note that bookings for less than 6 people may need to share the room with other guests. Central heating as standard. Guests can choose their own buffet breakfast.
